ROAD TRIP

So I am on spring break now, and my amigos and I are taking a road trip to Idaho. This will be done all by ourselves and I am excited and nervous! Before I go off on our plans, let me tell you about these girls.
I met Monique my first year at Girls Camp when I was 12 years old. At first she was just a friend I saw at church functions, but she grew to be someone I love most in this world. Bruna is my bestest friend in the entire world, seriously. The three of us together is just amazing, from trek or Girls Camp. Anyways, Monique and I are going to BYU I together while Bruna is off to the east coast. Monique and I want to look at places to live so that called for a road trip, and it wouldn't be complete without Bruna joining us for the ride.

We will spend one day driving there, two days at the campus, and one day driving home. Our first day there is filled with tours of the campus as a whole, the art department (for me), the premed department (for monique) and housing opportunities. It will be great to dip into what I will be expecting.

Don't worry, Ill be document this trip with what I liked about my future there, and how I choose a place to live!

Much Love,
Ciara

DORM DECOR!

It is official, all of my Internal Assessments (IA) for IB are done! They are turned in and man, the feeling couldn't be greater. Seriously think of a multipage paper for every class, ahhh. Now all I have to do is finish up my classes, and rock IB testing in May.

I am having to start looking into housing and living options for next year. Thinking about rent, or any type of living management outside of my home, without my parents, is just crazy! All I know is a few things;
  1. I want to live off campus because I receive more options
  2. I want a kitchen because I hate cafeteria food and I really need to learn my womanly duties
  3. I need laundry washer access that doesn't require dimes and nickles every time I do a load
  4. The more people living with me, the better
I am most excited that I get another room to decorate, it is kind of like my test run for when I have my own home one day. I get to use my own style plus the home decor techniques my mom taught me to make my dorm became a temporary home. May I say I also get an excuse to do all those Pinterest tutorials I have been needing a reason to make these! Here are my must make creations for dorm life. The pictures should provide links if available.

1. Pillows!! Who doesn't like cute pillows awaiting when they get home.

2. Cute ways to organize and display my jewelery, accessories, and beauty products. I definitely need a system for all my necklaces.

  Full Length Mirror/Jewelry Holder!

3. The last MUST HAVE is just some cute wall decor to bring a piece of home with me.

This as a side table would be awesome! It is so pretty and so perfect! Lots of room!

I am sure that ideas will come and go and evolve between now and then. Sometimes I just want to think about the less scary things because these type of things make it easier to transition.
Much Love,

Brainstorming

I don't know where my life is going to take me here from this point out in the next 6 months. All I know is that I will be a BYU Graduate with IB Honors. I will be moving to Idaho in the fall to start my new school year at BYU to focus on Social Studies. Education Composite with an American Government Emphasis. I hope to teach young kids to love history like I do. With a few chapter heading here and there I just have a bunch of blank pages.
It may be scary knowing that life is going to take you on a whirl wind, but I want to share this with everyone. This blog will start out as my pre-college life, like the steps I am doing to get there. For example my actual Graduation Day to IB Testing to get those IB college class credits. Don't worry it will get a little crafty too.I will be planning out my future dorm, hopefully not too much since I will have a roomate. I hope to find tips and recipes to living on my own, turning the page to being a college student.

Eventually this will be my blog on being a college student, but for now the blog are those blank pages ready to be written.

You are only one page away from a novel,
